I think the "meat on the face" became a popular routine because unlike a lot of Ross's jokes, it's contained and something that can be repeated easily without setting it up for 20min beforehand. I love the whole bit, I love his "Amorous Vegan" comment and how long he talks about pulleys and winches, but I love how completely sane it sounds after you've watched it for the millionth time. "Well, surely if there's an amorous vegan around, you do what you have to do..."

i love it but it used to be my fave joke but i think he has done better since then
